A pattern featuring endangered Carnaby's Black-Cockatoos, and Banksia prionotes. I'm happy to live across from a reserve which sometimes features the former, and always the latter. I'm very fond of the native wildlife.
Thanks Ros - I will admit, one of the most (ridiculously) exciting things for me about doing a PhD is the opportunity to do another natural history themed end-paper pattern (or hopefully, more than one), as this one was developed for the end-papers of my Master's dissertation.
It might be frivolous, but hey, I'm a designer, details are what I do.
I LOVE this design! I think it is one of my favourites, actually, what a great combination of banksias and cockatoos.
